Pelle Pelle once again was a proud sponsor of Justin Tuck’s Celebrity Billiards Tournament. Hosted by New York Giant Justin Tuck and his wife Lauran, The 3rd Annual event raised more than $1 milllion dollars for their R.U.S.H for Literacy Charity. The event took place at Slate, NYC.

About The Florentine Skin
Pelle Pelle, the American standard of leather clothing, has once again
avoided the common and created something new and stunningly bold. We have
accomplished this by going back to the basic techniques of tanning that
dates back centuries and in doing so we created a totally fresh leather for
our jackets. Inspired by the variation of color found in hand tinted fresco
walls throughout Italy we have named our new leather “Florentine”
These ancient methods of vegetable dyeing create a depth of color more rich
and beautiful than ever possible with the spray dyeing of today.
Modern tanning techniques actually put a layer of paint on top of the
leather so your not really touching the leather itself and makes the color
flat and lifeless. With Florentine vegetable dyeing you can actually see
into the color, and feel the true nature of leather.
This Florentine process is time consuming but the end result is absolutely
stunning, showing off the unique character of each and every skin, retaining
subtle differences of texture and a multitude of rich deep color variations,
you can actually see and the true noble character of leather.
Each step of our special Florentine hand process of dyeing, waxing, ironing
and polishing makes the depth of color go deeper bringing out more of the
true beauty of the leather. This process produces a leather so rich looking
that nothing can compare. The depth of color is incredible with beautiful
shading variations. Each skin varies in color from light to dark, thus
making each jacket unique in itself with variations of color from panel to
panel. The high polished shine gives the natural dyeing a surprising level
of sophistication. Rugged, natural and sophisticated what a great
combination.
Because of our unique hand process your jacket will continue to develop a
beautiful patina as time goes on creating even more variation and enhancing
the depth of color even further. As you wear your jacket the shine will
soften to a luxurious luster and the shade will change on various parts of
the jacket. Each jacket is truly a piece of art. Not just an incredible
leather jacket but also a statement of our commitment to quality and the
